Also known as 'Seyval', it's an excellent choice for cooler areas, and is used extensively in British and more northern European vine yards. It makes a very good dessert grape, and ripens earlier than many other varieties, with a good sweet juicy flavour. Excellent for eating or juicing. Ready to pick: September.
