A spectacular plant from the South American jungle. The 'Urn Plant' is an epiphytic Bromeliad that grows naturally in trees where it collects water in the central 'vase' its grey-green leaves form. The extraordinary pink flowerheads last for months and bear tiny pale-blue flowers that age to red. An easy to grow Bromeliad that should be watered moderately at the roots and have it's central cup filled periodically with fresh water.
