Perfectly hardy, Olives can reliably be grown in this country, needing only plenty of sun and well drained soil. The grey foliage looks great all year and they will have clusters of tiny cream flowers in the summer; they may also set fruit in a hot summer. An outstanding tree for a patio pot or the border.
