The "Cherry Laurel"" is an absolutely bomb proof plant that will thrive virtually anywhere. Large glossy leaves and lots of white 'candle' flowers in late May or June, followed by red berries later (poisonous if eaten). It can be pruned to size and is also a very popular hedging plant.
