Our Menu - Seasonal Vegetarian Dishes
During the winter months Riverside Cafe has a warming seasonal menu, including homemade soups, hearty stews (both served with local artisan bread from just down the road at Mark's Bread), warm vegetarian quiche, assorted pies and pasties, and -the ultimate winter comfort food- a fried egg sandwich!
Lunch is served from 12-2.30pm everyday.
For breakfast we serve eggs on toast (fried or poached, you choose), toast with a choice of jams, marmalades and spreads, beans on toast and a chunky vegetarian sausage sandwich. All are, of course, made with delicious artisan bread from Mark's Bread bakery.
Breakfast is served 9.30-11.30am daily.
We're a family friendly cafe so please ask for our children's menu... usually half portions of what's on the menu for the grown ups!
We always try to have at least one vegan and dairy free option, and also have gluten free options for customers with dietary requirements. We do our very best to accommodate all our customers so if you have any questions or dietary restrictions just ask!
Wherever possible we try to source our ingredients and produce from local suppliers, reducing food miles and supporting local businesses.
