Plants for Gifts

Plants make wonderful gifts and this Christmas we are offering our greatest selection of potted arrangements and gifted-wrapped festive plants, ideal for gardeners and plant lovers. 

Our beautiful mixed planters are created here at Riverside by Claire and combine seasonal flowers and foliage in a range of decorative pots with prices from £12 to £35. These will continue to perform through the colder months with the minimum of care and can then be replanted for spring or kept to flower again next winter. Varieties include Miracle Cyclamen, Skimmia japonica, Helleborus orientalis and Cineraria 'Silver Dust'. Planters come in a range of materials such as birch-bark, tin, rope-wound and brushed slate effect.

We also select, and gift wrap a range of shrubs that we think would make a fine gift. These include Lemon Trees (Citrus 'Meyers Lemon' - the hardiest outdoor variety of Lemon), Lentern Roses (Helleborus orientalis, now beginning to flower), Lophomyrtus 'Magic Dragon' with its delicate, multicoloured evergreen foliage and Skimmia japonica with its seasonal red berries. We are also happy to gift wrap any other outdoor plant for free.

Indoors we will be filling the shop with a selection of beautiful plants suitable for growing in homes and conservatories. These include Orchids, Indoor Ferns, Citrus Trees and Flamingo Flowers (Anthurium). Alongside these, we offer the classic Christmas flowering plants for the home including Poinsettia, Cyclamen and Christmas Cacti. Again, we are happy to wrap any indoor plant for free.
