This is one of the tallest of the Fargesias, growing into a very dense, non spreading clump. Its very upright, arching only at the top. The young canes are a rich green with distinctive contrasting white sheaths, becoming pale yellow when mature. The leaves are quite large and distinctively glossy. Perfect as a screen or as a specimen.
