Job Vacancy: HR Advisor Part-Time

We’re looking for a proactive HR Adviser to be our on-site HR lead. This is a standalone role with real scope to shape and develop the HR function as we grow. You’ll handle day-to-day HR operations, support employees across the full lifecycle, and work closely with our Directors and outsourced HR partner on more complex matters.

What You’ll Be Doing 

Managing HR administration and maintaining accurate HRIS records. 

Tracking sickness, annual leave and conducting return-to-work meetings. 

Preparing monthly payroll variables and liaising with the Payroll Manager. 

Supporting recruitment: posting adverts, scheduling interviews, completing vetting. 

Coordinating onboarding, welcome packs and first-week inductions. 

Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries. 

Handling minor employee relations issues and escalating when needed. 

Supporting internal communications, engagement activities and team events. 

What We’re Looking For 

Generalist HR experience gained in an administrative role (e.g., Office Administrator, Team Assistant, or HR Assistant.)   

Experience managing absence cases and understanding of ACAS processes. 

Strong organisation, accuracy and communication skills. 

Confident using HR systems and Google Workspace/MS Office. 

Calm, approachable and able to handle sensitive conversations professionally. 

Able to work on-site, 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday. 

Desirable: CIPD Level 5 or similar HR training
