South Bristol Arts Trail 2025
We are very excited to be hosting 8 local artists over the weekend, who will be showcasing and selling their beautiful work, inspired by nature just like us.
Explore the trail on the 20th & 21st September!
What is the art trail?
"The South Bristol Arts Trail is a free event, open to everyone, and takes place once a year in venues across Southville, Bedminster and Ashton.
Each year over 100 local artists exhibit in venues across BS3. Artists open their homes and studio spaces, as well as exhibiting in community venues from schools and shops to cafes and community centres. Wander through our streets and discover new artists, favourite local venues and creatives that might just surprise you.
From performers, painters and papercraft to ceramics, sculptures and sketchers, the Trail celebrates the breadth of creativity locally, with something for all to enjoy."

For Riverside, having you and your gorgeous work brings a magical atmosphere to our garden centre, and we love being part of the buzz it brings to the community. It is especially inspiring to see how our local artists capture botanical beauty – a love we share!”

Melanie Wickham - Lino Prints
Limited edition lino prints of birds, plants, woodlands, dancing dogs and favourite places. All hand burnished on local Somerset Paper in my home studio in BS3. Also tea towels, cards and totes. Inspired by the natural world and the creatures around us, with joy and energy and a love of printmaking added in.
Emily McCulloch
My work combines a love of the natural world and an interest in ecology resulting in detailed illustrations that celebrate the beauty and complexity of the species around us. I’m particularly drawn to creatures that are often overlooked or misunderstood—such as moths—and I use my work as a way to shift perspectives and spark curiosity.

Bristol Baskets
Contemporary basketry, weaving wilow grown in Bristol and on the Somerset Levels
Karen Scrase Glass
I create hand painted stained glass panels all inspired by nature using the age old methods/techniques of the craft of stained glass. Particularly native birds of the UK and moments in nature that I have experienced. Capturing them to share and connect with others, as many of our wildlife bird species face challenges in the face of climate change and habitat loss.

Earth Room Ceramics
I make pottery in small batches from my little home in Bedminster. From little cat badges and figurines to functional homewares, e.g. tablewares, vases etc. I like using pastel-coloured glazes in my work, giving a playful yet calm feeling, almost like what you see in children's storybook.

Angharad Collections
Angharad is a designer maker creating limited-edition seasonal clothing collections including a range of unique Hatz and Pantz as well as multi-media artwork.
Mini Moon
Mini Moon jewellery is eye-catching, fun and lightweight, I want my jewellery to bring joy to every outfit! My Earrings are made from polymer clay, slow made in small batches from my home studio in Bristol. Working in small quantities enables me to minimise waste, and focus on high quality, design driven pieces. Any waste created during the making stage, such as clay off-cuts or drill shavings, are reincorporated into new designs. I also make adjustable rings, and necklaces with real forget-me-not flowers which I pick and press myself, encased in glossy resin. I use high quality materials, such as surgical steel for earring stud posts, which are great for sensitive skin and ensures durability for a long life product.
