The 'Devil's Ivy' is a tough climbing or trailing plant from Australasia with leathery, heart-shaped, variegated leaves. It naturally grows in humid forests and climbs trees by means of its ariel roots. Indoors it can be trained up canes or a moss pole where it can grow up to 6ft or left to trail from a pot or basket. However you choose to grow it, make sure it has good indirect light, plenty of moisture (mist regularly) and allow to dry out a little between waterings. It's also an excellent air purifier.
